Picture a professional photography experience that is planned around who you are and what you want. Where your photographer takes time to get to know you and your loved one(s). Imagine images and printed photo products you’ll treasure for a lifetime. That’s my goal for your photo session.
I’ll help you choose a photo location that’s perfect for you. You’ll get tips for what to wear and how to prepare for a stress-free picture day.
After we capture your images, I am still there for you! We’ll meet in person so I can help you select your favorites, and decide how to print them. I’ll show you beautiful products you can purchase for your home. You’ll get to see mockups of your wall art, books and albums before I place your order! When your artwork arrives, I’ll deliver it to you and even help you hang your wall art if you like.
Step 1. Your Inquiry
If you’d like to book a professional photography session with me, the first thing to do is connect via a phone call. I want to understand what you’re looking for and answer any questions you have. After our call, I’ll send you more info and links so you can schedule your planning meeting and portrait session.
Step 2: Your Planning Meeting
Your planning meeting is where we get to know each other better. I gather the info I need to create personalized plan for your session and artwork. We talk about photo locations and what to wear. We discuss the personalities of those who will be photographed, their abilities, likes and dislikes. It’s how I make sure your session and photos are everything you hope for!
We discuss my policies, products and pricing and I answer all your questions, so there are no surprises later on. The entire meeting usually takes around 30 minutes or up to an hour. We can meet via video call, in your home or at a local cafe. Wherever you are most comfortable!
Once we have a plan, I’ll email your invoice to pay the session fee. You can do this in one installment, or two.
Step 3: Your Professional Photography Session
Your portrait session will be laid back and fun. The preparation guide will have you feeling ready and confident. Our planning session will have prepared both you AND ME with everything we need to create great photos together!
No more awkward photos! I’m professionally trained, so I know how to use light, lenses and angles to bring out your best. I’m experienced ta finding or making great light for beautiful photos. We’ll get some candid, moving shots and maybe even play some games to get you laughing. My goal is to help you relax and truly enjoy your self. I promise it’s easy, and you’ll rock it just by being you!
Step 4: Your Ordering Appointment & Product Delivery
We’ll get together 1 or 2 weeks after your photo session and I’ll show you the image gallery in person. We can meet via zoom or in person. First, you’ll see a slideshow of your proof gallery. Then we’ll walk through your images one by one so you can select your favorites. Next, we’ll discuss which collection or a la carte products you’d like to order. Lastly, I’ll make a note of your retouching requests.
You won’t get a hard sell from me since I have no interest tin selling you anything you don’t want! I’m here to help you get what you want and make that process as painless as possible.
Afterwards, I’ll prepare your portraits for print and order your books and wall art. When they arrive, I’ll make sure they are perfect. Then I’ll deliver them to your home or office, ready to display and enjoy!
